Alberto Mastra
Alberto Mastra (born Alberto Mastrascusa Ilario inMontevideo, Uruguay November 9, 1909 - died ibídem , April 10 , 1976 ) was a Uruguayan guitarist, singer, composer and poet who wrote and played Tango and Milonga music. He was a left-handed guitarist who did not re-string or convert his guitar, thus allowing him to achieve unusual sonorities from his instrument. HIs album, Con Permiso, contains mostly solo recordings, although he was also known for his Tango recordings and performances with backing bands.
